National Development Officer (Harm Reduction and Death Prevention)
Patricia joined SDF/Hepatitis Scotland in November 2015 on secondment from Turning Point Scotland where she was the service manger of the Glasgow Drug Crisis Centre. Patricia worked at Turning Point Scotland since 1999 where she worked and managed services for people who sleep rough, experience homelessness, alcohol and drug issues.
Patricia’s job is to work with Alcohol and Drug Partnership’s (ADP’s) to support their work in preventing drug-related deaths and was involved in the development of the Staying Alive in Scotland report. She assists in the development of local and national strategies that aim to address all causes of mortality including overdose, blood-borne viruses, health needs and suicide.
