Scottish Drugs Forum looking for new members to join our Board of Directors

Scottish Drugs Forum is a national charity which works to reduce the health and social harms caused by drugs. Our aims are to tackle inequalities, promote informed and evidence-based policies, practice and debate and to ensure that those with drugs-related problems get effective, compassionate and timely support from services tailored to meet individual needs.

We are looking to add around 4 new members to our Board of Directors. In particular, we wish to recruit members who have strategic-level experience in the following:

  • providing routes into employment
  • human resources
  • enhancing service access and quality
  • support for children and young people
  • business sector

These positions are unpaid, but travel expenses are reimbursable. The Board meets 4 times per annum in the Scottish Drugs Forum offices in central Glasgow.
