We’re hiring – Senior Officer to support our work within drug death prevention

Scottish Drugs Forum is seeking to recruit a Senior Officer who will support our work within drug death prevention.

This important position has been developed following changes within the remit of the National Naloxone Programme to focus on wider aspects of drug death prevention and carries substantial responsibility.

Reporting to the Strategy Coordinator, we are looking to recruit a passionate, highly motivated and proactive individual with a strong commitment to harm reduction, to work within a supportive team and play a vital role in the delivery of the Staying Alive in Scotland strategy.

This post requires an in-depth knowledge of drug-related mortality and morbidity alongside evidenced-based strategies to prevent or reduce such harms.

Experience of working at strategic level, delivering training, public speaking and engaging effectively with multiple stakeholders is crucial. It is also essential to have relevant experience working with or providing services for people who use drugs.
