Living Experience Engagement Officer

Martin joined the living experience engagement team in Nov 2021. Before joining SDF, Martin was working in a secure unit within a mental health hospital, supporting clients therapeutically and assisting them to engage with activities in the community. Prior to this, he was involved in assertive outreach, injecting equipment provision and blood borne virus testing services in Ayrshire as part of an ADP placement.

Martin has also had a number of volunteer roles including mentoring care experienced young people and also in delivering festival welfare services providing crisis intervention to people experiencing drugs and acute mental health crises.
