Mark McCann

Mark is a research fellow at the Medical Research Council / Chief Scientist Office Social and Public Health Sciences Unit. He has studied Psychology (BSc), Social research methods (MRes), Epidemiology (PhD), and Drug and Alcohol Studies (PgCert).

His research focuses on understanding health and health behaviours, such as mental health, alcohol and drug use. His main interests lie in using statistical methods, complex systems science, and social network analysis approaches to understand the importance of social relationships, area variation and economic inequalities in health.
