Dr Julie McAdam has been a Consultant Forensic Pathologist for 22 years and is currently Head of Forensic Pathology Services at Forensic Medicine and Science, University of Glasgow, the largest Forensic centre in the country.

She has had a special interest in drug-related deaths for most of her career and her department is involved in investigation of these deaths for the majority of the West of Scotland.

She was previously a member of the National Forum on Drug Related Deaths and has recently become a Board member at SDF.
