A new interim report has been released which provides an update on the work of the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Subgroup of the Scottish Drugs Death Taskforce.
The subgroup was established in November 2019 and launched a consultation on the draft standards in November 2020. The Minister for Drugs Policy, Angela Constance confirmed to Parliament on 18 March 2021 that the final Standards will be published in May this year with full implementation across Scotland by April 2022.
The interim report gives a snapshot of quality improvement work to implement the Standards and learning from the consultation, as well as programme milestones for 2021/22.
