Eleanor co-ordinates SDF’s e-learning programme, designing and developing online learning courses about substances and related issues, to enhance the skills and knowledge of Scotland’s drug and alcohol workforce.  

Key Responsibilities: 

– Collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop learning content that is evidence based and relevant to current drug trends 

– Designing and developing accessible and inclusive e-learning courses to meet the needs of diverse learners across the workforce 

– Engaging and supporting volunteers with lived and living experience of substance use to review e-learning prior to publication, to ensure courses are trauma-informed 

Background: 

Eleanor holds a postgraduate micro-credential in Online teaching: accessibility and inclusive learning; and has previously worked in learning and development roles within a Health and Social Care Partnership and the third sector.
