Kat’s role is to work alongside grassroots organisations supported by the Local Support Team (LST) addressing digital needs. The work of the LST includes providing strategic direction to ensure good governance and long-term viability of work programmes to support the Scottish Governments National Drugs Mission. The team take a person-centred approach to each organisation or project offering management expertise in a coaching and mentoring capacity to Boards, staff, and volunteers. Financial sustainability is a key component of current work.

– Supporting the digital growth of individual organisations

– Assisting with successful online delivery, including social media

– Providing appropriate guidance on digital strategies

Background

Kat has a degree in English and Film and a Master’s in Factual TV Production and Development. She has spent the past 10 years working within the Scottish Arts sector, in marketing and production.
