Programme Coordinator - Local Support Team
Louise leads the Local Support Team (LST) team in supporting grassroots organisations working to reduce drug related harm. This work includes providing strategic direction to ensure good governance and long-term viability of work programmes to support the Scottish Governments National Drugs Mission. The team take a person-centred approach to each organisation or project offering management expertise in a coaching and mentoring capacity to Boards, staff and volunteers. Financial sustainability is a key component of current work.

– Designing programmes of work and testing interventions.
– Assessment of needs, research and evaluation.
– Guiding and supporting organisations to unlock their potential.
– Working in collaboration with communities across Scotland, alongside people with lived and living experience.
Background
Louise’s previous role was within SDF’s Harm Reduction, Sexual Health, and Blood-Borne Viruses team, undertaking research and delivering training to improve the sexual health of marginalised group.
