Peer Research Development Officer
Louise is involved in the delivery of peer research and evaluation projects at SDF including leading a national project evaluating the implementation of the MAT standards. This work ensures the voices of those with lived and living experience inform decision making and service improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
– Designing and managing peer research and evaluation projects, including developing research tools such as surveys and interview guides.
– Leading on data collection, analysis, and the production of reports for national pieces of work, focused primarily on implementation of the MAT standards.
– Supporting the recruitment, training, and supervision of peer research volunteers across Scotland.
– Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure research findings inform practice and policy.
Background:
Louise holds a MSc in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Edinburgh University and has completed an SVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care. She has previous experience of working in third sector organisations which support individuals affected by substance use, mental health, and criminal justice.
