Quality Improvement Development Officer
Louise came to SDF in August 2022 and leads the national quality improvement and evaluation work around the Medication Assisted Treatment Standards and assisting alongside other peer research activity. Her role includes supporting, coordinating and training peers with lived and living experience to undertake peer research and evaluation projects across Scotland.
Previously, Louise worked in front line substance use services, with the last four years spent in criminal justice settings providing psychosocial interventions for harm reduction and recovery. Her qualifications include an MSc in Criminology and Criminal Justice where her thesis was focused on UK drug policy. She recently gained an SVQ Level 4.
