SDF work with people with living experience results in new trends bulletin

SDF supports 11 groups of people with living experience who meet regularly to offer peer support and information-sharing in order to improve the lives of people who use drugs and the services they use.

An important part of this activity is learning and sharing information about the drug supplied in Scotland and the related risks and harms.

The drug market is evolving quickly and people using drugs are keen to know what issues are arising and to share their own insights.

SDF have produced the first of a regular update on this work – on drugs people who attend groups across Scotland have had tested and he results of this testing.

This pioneering work relies on testing via Wedinos, the Welsh national testing service funded via the Welsh Assembly and NHS, to which people have submitted samples and on nitazene testing strips which have been distributed via Scottish Drugs Forum.
